Hi everyone!

I’m Christian, an experienced Unix system administrator, primarily concentrating on IBM’s AIX on pSeries hardware.  I also have done my fair share of network, SAN, and security administration, and have created several architectural designs taking all this into account.

I’ve been doing this for several years (since mid-1993; AIX since 2000), and over the years I also have taken a keen interest in Disaster Preparedness / Disaster Recovery design and implementation.

At any rate, my focus in this blog will be primarily on Disaster Preparedness (especially leaning towards explaining Disaster Prevention to technical or semi-technical individuals), followed by general AIX stuff.
